We recently launched a new website for @ruhwollongong – a growing Illawarra cafe brand built on connection, community and a genuine love of coffee.
With branding already established, our role was to translate the soul of RÜH into a digital experience. An expressive, hand-drawn illustration style became central to the design direction, helping to create a site that feels warm, human and distinctly different – much like the cafes themselves.
Subtle animation, custom icons and layered video content bring the experience to life, while maintaining a sense of ease and clarity for users. The result is a website that balances personality with performance.
From a functionality perspective, the site is designed to support both customers and the business as it continues to grow. Users can easily find locations, book a table, order online via Bopple, purchase gift cards and shop merchandise – all within a seamless experience.
RÜH has built something special across its four locations – and this website reflects that. Thoughtful, considered and grounded in what matters most: people.

Berry’s very own local celebrity and all-round good boy, Alfie, dropped by the office today.
We’re not entirely sure if he was here to brief us on a new design or website project – something in the adventure or local exploration space, perhaps – but he certainly made himself right at home.
The timing was a little… suspicious. Right on lunchtime.
BRAND IDENTITY / Late last year we completed a branding project for @siia.jervisbay, a new residential apartment development in Huskisson, NSW. The brand identity draws inspiration from Scandinavian design influences, the surrounding coastal environment and the considered interior styling of the apartments.
The name SiiA references the banksia – a native species synonymous with the Jervis Bay coastal landscape – establishing a clear connection between the development and its natural setting. The illustrative logo interprets this inspiration through a modern, simplified mark, while a restrained palette of black and grey aligns with the interior design direction. Together these elements create a refined visual language that complements the architecture and materials of the development.
This project was delivered in collaboration with the project developer, interior designer and sales agent – @mcgoldrickestateagents.
With the brand established, our focus has now turned to the design and development of the website, which we look forward to sharing with you soon.
